Head Golf Professional – Michael Ferry

Michael Ferry was born and raised in Meadville, PA and graduated from Meadville Area High School and Slippery Rock University with a degree in Marketing. Michael was an assistant at Sharon Country Club and Head Golf Professional at Oak Tree Country Club and Avalon Golf & Country Club. While playing at Slippery Rock, Michael was first team all conference two years, and NCAA Division II All American in his senior year. He has been a member of the PGA of America since 1999 and has over 20 years in the golf business. Michael also competes competitively in the Tri-State Section. He along with his wife Shelby, have 3 children: Ryan, Paige and Luke.

“My mission as the Head Golf Professional at The Country Club is to administer a golf operation that will enhance the enjoyment of the game of golf for all levels of the membership. My ultimate goal is to exceed the expectations of the members by providing quality service, a well planned tournament schedule, effective golf instruction and fully stocked merchandise.”
